Do you want to publish your
writing, but know that it lacks the flare and drop-dead
beauty necessary to interest professional editors, agents
and publishers? I can help you. I've been an editor and
creative writing teacher for 30 years. I've helped many
wannabe writers become published and PAID authors. My
novels have been published by Berkley, TSR and ACE/Berkley.
I've written numerous short stories that have appeared in
such magazines as AMAZING STORIES. I've sold my books to
Hollywood. I have been there, in this world of publishing,
all my professional life.
So, how is my writing/editing program different?
Simple. While editing your book, I teach you how to make
your writing sparkle. I show you the techniques that you
need to master to make your book or short story strong and
publishable. Don't understand how to use correct
Point-of-View? Do you have trouble writing convincing
dialogue? Does your plotting plod along like an old horse
pulling a plow?
The directions I offer relate to YOUR manuscript and are
individualized to YOUR needs. They are not generic. This
information can range from giving you examples of how you
can rewrite parts of your story that need strengthening to
brainstorming ideas to improve your plot. I also teach you
how to write a synopsis. My method is proven to attract
agents and editors. I am available via email for all your
questions, and if you feel the need to call me, I will
gladly assist you in understanding particularly challenging
techniques.
I cannot, of course, guarantee that you will be published,
but I do give you the tools, knowledge and first-hand
experience you must have to make this dream come true.
So what does all this personalized service cost?
I charge $3.50 per double spaced, typed page (regardless of
the amount of text on the page). All your questions are
answered for free. Make sure that you double-space your
manuscript with a 1-inch margin (top, bottom and both
sides) and use a type font that is legible, such as Courier
10. Also, please understand that I require payment up front
with your pages.
